Which spiral notebooks truly lay flat without grinding into your left wrist?
I've tried top-bound Rhodia and Maruman Mnemosyne. Rhodia is fine but the paper is thin for gel ink. What are people using for daily notes?

PSA: Herman Miller Aeron Size C cylinders now ship with a +2" drop option
Called their support: the taller cylinder is a standard option again, not a special order. Seat height tops out around 55 cm. At 196 cm my knees are finally level.

The quiet revival of US 14 hiking boots: Scarpa vs Meindl toe boxes measured
Both brought back 14s this season. I measured toe box width at the widest point on identical size 14s: Meindl 108 mm, Scarpa 103 mm. Meindl wins for wide forefeet; Scarpa's heel is narrower if you get heel slip.

Left-handed fountain pen nib grind angles: 0.5 mm italic vs oblique medium
Underwriting vs hooking changes your attack angle by roughly 35 degrees. I put both nibs under a microscope after a month of daily use. The oblique medium wore evenly for me (hooker); the italic caught on the upstroke.
